Embark on a journey of discovery with an exquisite whisky tasting at the Coburg Bar. Guided by our whisky sommelier, savour three single malts, each expertly paired with artisan cheeses, uncovering the story behind every cask.

A Shared Spirit

The Connaught and The Macallan unite to honour the iconic Single Malt’s 200th anniversary with TIME : SPACE. This exceptional whisky features two single malts in a pioneering dual-chamber vessel: an extraordinarily rare 84-year-old 1940 vintage, the oldest ever released by The Macallan, and the inaugural whisky from The Macallan Distillery, which opened in 2018.

      Unique Art

      Paris-based designer India Mahdavi enhanced the Coburg Bar by reupholstering the original wingback chairs in contemporary, jewel-coloured velvet. Black-and-white cameos by Julian Opie hang on the wood panelling, by the fireplace.

        Child Policy:
        Kindly note that children, both residents and non-residents of the hotel, are welcome in our bars if accompanied by an adult. We do not have space for pushchairs.
