Surrenne Riviera arrives on the Côte d'Azur

Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, June 2025  - The opening of Surrenne Riviera marks the brand's highly anticipated arrival in France and its second location, following the success of Surrenne Belgravia’s debut in London – across four floors within The Emory. 

A destination dedicated to wellbeing and longevity, Surrenne fuses advanced science, ancient traditions, personalised treatments, expert-led movement and fitness practices. In this new clifftop location with sweeping views over Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Monaco and the coast beyond, Surrenne Riviera will elevate wellbeing to an art for hotel guests - going far beyond a traditional hotel spa – and will also offer longevity stays, retreats and a small number of seasonal membership places. 

At Surrenne, protocols and spaces are guided by world-leading specialists who form Surrenne’s Scientific Advisory Board: Global Scientific and Wellbeing Lead, Dr. Mark Mikhail; triple-Harvard-degree dermatologist Dr. Macrene Alexiades; elite fitness practitioner Simon Inman; cellular biologist and Longevity Lead Dr Sandra Kaufmann; nutritionist Rose Ferguson; and hypnotherapist and sleep expert Malminder Gill. Curated to suit each destination by this panel of experts, together with the highly experienced Maybourne team, Surrenne offers a world of transformation, providing a highly bespoke, holistic approach to emotional wellbeing and physical health. 

Across its three floors, Surrenne Riviera offers signature treatments that merge cutting-edge technology with holistic therapies, tailored to address the unique needs of every guest. Among these is "I Need it All," a ritual that begins with a personalized consultation, leading into a bespoke session blending deep tissue, Thai, Ayurveda, Shiatsu, and trigger point therapy, offering a tranquil escape and deep, restorative relief. Surrenne also offers personalized facials (in partnership with Biologique Recherche – fusing science and skincare for lasting, visible results), recovery therapies including a signature lymphatic drainage treatment, and expert nutritional guidance, complemented by cold therapy, infrared therapy, osteopathy, and red-light therapy.

Four dedicated studio spaces focus on both physical and mental wellbeing at Surrenne Riviera: the Surrenne Gym offers the latest Technogym equipment, while the Performance Studio is a one-to-one training space. The Waves Studio and Riviera Reflections studios are fully open to the terrace beyond with no windows to obscure the view, letting in the breeze, sunlight and gentle sounds of the Côte d'Azur below. These two studios provide group classes, including yoga, spinning, TRX, and Pilates, designed in collaboration with Lagree Fitness.

Designed by Michelle Wu, Global Head of Design at Maybourne, as an immersive sensorial world that reflects sea, sky and The Maybourne Riviera’s spectacular clifftop location, Surrenne Riviera’s three floors seamlessly blend beautifully crafted serene surroundings with therapeutic benefits. Inspired by the Côte d’Azur, the origins of “spa” and the healing power of water, these spaces have been created in a palette of blues – proven by neuroscientists to have calming benefits – with bespoke wallcoverings that evoke running water and blue-toned stone paired with warm woods and organic earthy hues and textures of Travertine and Moleanos stone. 

As with its London counterpart, Surrenne Riviera also offers membership program, providing access to world-class facilities, personalized treatments, and exclusive member benefits, including unlimited access to the infinity pool, privileged access to The Maybourne Riviera’s beach club, steam and sauna sanctuaries, as well as priority bookings for bespoke wellness rituals and fitness classes. Later this year, Surrenne Riviera will introduce wellbeing stay programmes, dedicated Longevity Retreats with world-leading guest practitioners and, looking ahead to 2026, Surrenne Riviera will offer additional pioneering Medical Longevity protocols.
