Our Digital Approach
At Maybourne, we are committed  to ensuring our websites, mobile platforms and digital services are accessible to all users, including those with vision, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments. Our goal is to meet, and where possible, exceed, international accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. 

This means you should be able to: 

• change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser functionality
• zoom in up to 400% without content spilling off the screen
• navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
• navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
• listen to most of our websites using a screen reader 

We also strive to make the website text as simple as possible to understand. 

How We Do It 

Best practices built in
Accessibility is considered at every stage of design and development. We partner with digital experts to audit our platforms and help us remove barriers - visible or otherwise. 

AudioEye integration
Our websites feature the AudioEye accessibility tool, designed to support users with assistive needs through features such as screen reader enhancements, keyboard navigation, visual customisation tools and more. You can access this via the icon in the bottom corner of our site. 

Training & awareness
Our teams and partners are regularly trained in accessibility principles, ensuring the experiences we craft are elegant in design and effortless for everyone to navigate. 

Regular reviews
We work with accessibility specialists and conduct audits across our platforms to identify issues and resolve them proactively. 

We’re in the process of launching a series of newly designed websites across the Maybourne portfolio, each built with accessibility at its core and  designed to comply with WCAG 2.2 AA. These enhanced platforms will roll out over the coming months, with improved navigation, performance and inclusive features for all users. 

How accessible this website is
This website is fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, based on an accessibility audit completed on 24 March 2026. No issues were identified during testing across macOS (Chrome + VoiceOver) and iOS (VoiceOver).

Maybourne is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA . 

Accessibility relies on the following technologies to function with your browser, device and any assistive technologies:

The website is designed to be compatible with assistive technologies and the most recent version of major browsers. In older versions of major browsers, some aspects may not display optimally. 

Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility and that no issues were identified in our most recent accessibility audit, there may be some limitations. Known limitations and potential solutions are listed below:   

• Some archived documents or PDFs may not fully meet current accessibility standards. However, accessible alternatives are available upon request using the contact details above;
• Some older PDFs are not fully accessible to screen reader software. Accessible alternatives are available  upon request using the contact details above; and
• certain videos on the site do not currently have audio descriptions, however, these are being updated. 

A Note on ThirdParty Content
While we do our utmost to ensure accessibility across all parts of our site, some features and content - such as maps, booking engines or embedded media - are powered by thirdparty providers. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of thirdparty systems, but we work with partners to promote accessible practices wherever possible.
