September 2025, London – Maybourne is pleased to announce the appointment of Charlie Walsh as its Global Head of Residential Sales. In this newly created role, Charlie will lead residential sales strategy across Maybourne’s ambitious expansion of its hotel and residential portfolio as it defines a new standard of luxury living with branded residences in key global and some satellite resort locations. Working alongside Global Head of Business Development, Angelo Maccaferri and led by Maybourne COO, Roland Fasel, Walsh will support Maybourne’s evolving position as a leading lifestyle brand.
“I’m delighted to join Maybourne at an extremely exciting time,” said Walsh. “Bringing a centuries-old legacy of discreet luxury whilst innovating for tomorrow’s ultra-high-net-worth buyers, Maybourne is bringing the values, exceptional service and unparalleled amenities that define its hotels to create an ultra-luxury residential product that hasn’t been seen before. I’m looking forward to growing Maybourne’s global community of residents who seek the pinnacle of luxury living.”
Walsh brings a wealth of experience to the role, with extensive hospitality experience in the branded residences sector. He also spent half a decade with Lodha Group UK, heading up Sales and Marketing and spearheading the launch of the Indian business into London with several luxury developments. Before this, Walsh led the international department at Savills and was also based in the GCC for a couple of years, and in the City of London working with the Commercial Investment department of Colliers.
Walsh will be integral in communicating the unparalleled service, storytelling and curated homeowner experiences that Maybourne Residents can expect. One of his first responsibilities will be to drive further sales for The Maybourne Residences Saint-Germain, Paris (opening 2027 in a historic landmark in the heart of the 7th arrondissement), which, following successful sales of first phase Saint Dominique, now launches phase two with 16 residences on Rue de l’Université. With an accelerated cadence, Maybourne will be announcing additional residences later this year and into 2026 as new locations are confirmed.
Roland Fasel, Chief Operating Officer of Maybourne said: “Charlie joins our team at a pivotal time for Maybourne as we continue our plan to open over a dozen hotels and residences in the next 10 years. His in-depth knowledge and specialised experience of the international luxury residential market will be an instrumental part of this growth, as we work together to nurture our existing client base and increase awareness of the unparalleled Maybourne lifestyle we are offering to new audiences.”
