We are seeking an exceptional Entertainment Sales Executive to join the Sales team at Maybourne Hotel Group where you will focus on the Entertainment Market.

Under the direction of the Director of Entertainment, as Entertainment Sales Executive you will be responsible to co-ordinate all entertainment industry activities by effective communication with Maybourne Hotel Group sales teams, reservations and all Maybourne hotels to ensure that business objectives are accomplished.  To ensure all potential sales leads are passed on to the sales team, and to act as the client liaison at the hotel.  To manage the co-ordination of all entertainment industry bookings, other events and stays classified as groups or individuals.  

Main duties & responsibilities

Main responsibilities of the Entertainment Sales Executive role include but are not limited to:

  • To meet prospective clients and conduct show-rounds for both arranged appointments and ad hoc visitors, for entertainment business;
  • To participate in and assist the Sales team in managing entertainment industry familiarization visits, including hotel site inspections and the entertainment of clients, travel agents etc;
  • Entertain existing and potential clients to maintain customer loyalty;
  • To manage all entertainment group activity such as junkets, music groups and thereafter to manage all actions required once a contract is finalised;
  • To ensure that all group activity is communicated effectively to the front line team at the hotels. To organize preparatory meetings when necessary with the hotels to ensure they have a full understanding of requirements;
  • To maintain a high level of communication and co-operation with CRS, Groups Sales and the Sales team;
  • To actively promote the services and facilities available to guests within the hotel.

Successful candidates for our Entertainment Sales Executive opportunity will:     

  • Have proven knowledge and previous experience in a Sales Executive role ideally with Entertainment focus in the luxury 5* market;
  • Possess strong customer care skills, the ability to work under pressure, with excellent and consistent attention to detail;
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce and Opera;
  • Be an excellent team player;
  • To be able to confidently liaise with senior management.
