We are seeking an exceptional Revenue Executive to join the Revenue Management team at Maybourne Hotel Group.

As Revenue Executive you will assist the Revenue Managers in maximizing revenue and profit associated with rooms from Maybourne Hotel Group (MHG) through Revenue Management best practices.

You will continuously review all practices to ensure optimization of all processes and output to provide value to all teams (Sales, Marketing, RSO and Front Office); co-ordinate, audit, maintain and manage the quality of data entered into all Revenue related systems and assist all areas of the business to use this data to its greatest potential.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of ALL related IT systems (Springer Miller (SMS), RezView Next Generation (RVNG), Delphi, Windows Applications, various Intranets, Ektron/ website, OTA and FIT extranets, Siteminder, Business Objects and MHG Intranet).
  • Responsible for rate loading, maintenance and auditing of data across all channels (Springer Miller (SMS), GDS, RVNG, Web & OTAs)
  • Responsible for adding, maintaining and reviewing content on all channels: OTAs, GDS (to include image portfolio and HOD), RVNG, Ektron/ website and Springer Miller
  • Daily review, quarterly audit and bi-annual training of GDS (database and sell strategy) and website.
  • Timely and accurate delivery of ‘Business Done’ and ‘Pick up’ sheets on a daily basis and be conversant in producing the daily Activity Report. Validation of daily & monthly ‘rooms’ data and input on STR extranet
  • Monitor and control of group block business ensuring that booking and pick up pace is accurately forecast and that block release occurs at the specified contracted time.
  • Monitor and control of contracted allocations ensuring that unsold inventory is returned at the earliest contracted time.
  • Manage the Pegasus relationship, ensuring optimal set up and maintenance
  • Prepare and update prescribed mandatory weekly and monthly forecast and pace reports
  • Check, audit and manage data on OTA extranets, ensuring rate parity, availability and integrity. Account management, maximization and optimization of OTA portfolio including update of inventory and restrictions

Entry Requirements

  • Have proven knowledge and previous experience in a Revenue Executive role ideally within luxury hotels.
  • Possess strong customer care skills, the ability to work under pressure, with excellent and consistent attention to detail.
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera.
  • Be an excellent team player.
  • To be able to confidently liaise with senior management.
