e are seeking an exceptional Director of Digital Product Management to join the Maybourne Marketing team on Fixed Term basis for 12 months.

Maybourne owns and manages Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Maybourne Beverly Hills, The Maybourne Riviera and The Emory (Opening in Spring 2024) – some of the world's most renowned hotels. As a Director of Digital Product Management you will manage all digital product development based on the digital strategy and product roadmap for Maybourne. You will act as the interface between the marketing department, internal and external design and build teams for all digital projects. You will engage with group, regional and hotel stakeholders to capture business requirements and champion digital development from initiation through to deployment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Main responsibilities of the Director of Digital Product Management role include but are not limited to:

  • Delivery of an exceptional digital guest brand experience ensuring the customer digital capabilities align with the brand framework.

  • Uses a structured process to interpret, analyse and capture business requirements for all digital platforms from direct users, internal and external stakeholders.

  • Management of a customer-centric design and build methodology to deliver and test regular increments of enhanced digital capability.

  • Management of company website and digital channels development budget and prioritisation of activity and expenditure against the product roadmap.

  • Overall business leadership of all digital development initiatives, and responsibility for product development, platform integration, program management, agency, content and testing resources.

  • Responsible for overall digital performance and quality measured by revenue, speed, conversion, resilience, up-time and level of defects.

  • Is a credible subject matter expert in digital product management who fosters support and confidence from stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

  • Is extremely well organised and able to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Is thorough and rigorous in approach and strives for the highest quality of output.

  • Has good technical understanding and is able to interact fluently with technology development resources.

  • Has understanding of the commercial drivers of the business and is able to translate this into specific capabilities and requirements for the brand website.

  • Is articulate and able to author comprehensive documentation which is not ambiguous or open to interpretation.

  • Has a strong creative eye as well as attention for detail and can adhere to business processes and disciplines.

  • Demonstrate genuine dedication to Maybourne and show a commitment to consistent quality in our products and services.

  • Proven track record of previous experience in Digital, Online, Media or eCommerce.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, web programming languages, web page design/layout, email, SEO and website performance metrics using Google Analytics, Omniture Site Catalyst.

  • Demonstrated experience using web analytics data to inform design and product offering decisions. 

  • Business planning and digital strategy development experience including usability, mobile, CRM, SEO, SEM, and social media.

  • Experience leading large digital development projects for enterprise or brand level operations.
