We are seeking an experienced Income Auditor to join the Maybourne Hotel Group covering our properties in Central London.

The high standard of service and unique product provided by Claridge’s to its guests, suppliers and internal departments requires professional and efficient control of revenues to ensure that all services rendered and products sold are accounted for. Being able to communicate well with all departments, combined with an accurate and analytical approach are all key skills required by the Income Auditor.

Main duties & responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as an Income Auditor will include but will not be limited to:

  • To provide a reconciled analysis of hotel allowances and management/complimentary charges on a daily basis for review by the Financial Controller, highlighting any discrepancies or possible misuse;
  • To monitor cash movements within the hotel including the verification of cashier receipts paid outs, cash advances, foreign currency transactions and cash corrections;
  • Providing accurate revenue and rooms statistics reports through the application of the Excel income audit model and being responsible for their distribution to the relevant hotel departments;
  • Responding to all internal requests regarding queries associated with revenue generation in a polite and professional manner including the follow up of any discrepancies requiring corrective action;
  • To analyse all room rate applications including complimentary, house use and no shows, highlighting any rate or package set-up discrepancies.

Entry Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, ideally someone who has worked in a similar Income Auditor role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. We would be looking for someone that has outstanding people management skills, a keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational abilities. The role is varied and involves a great deal of interaction with all departments within the Hotel.
