Main Duties & Responsibilities
As a Digital Marketing Manager you will implement and manage the digital marketing strategy across all online channels in line with Maybourne’s brand positioning and business objectives. The Digital Marketing Manager will focus on improving the digital presence and performance of specified Maybourne hotels, products and services as well as implementing the strategy for new hotel openings and new verticals. They will work closely with the hotel teams and senior leadership at head office to drive and report on digital performance, campaign effectiveness and digital best practices.
Main responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager role include but are not limited to:
- To manage the strategy across all paid advertising channels (incl. Paid Search, Programmatic, Paid social, metasearch, Expedia) working with the agencies to optimise campaigns via a test and learn approach to improve results, maximise ROI and meet business requirements.
- To analyse KPIs to measure effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights.
- To monitor closely all campaign budget.
- To manage SEO strategy and agencies, including technical work, on-site content optimisation and in-bound link profile management.
- To manage content for all websites and ensure updates are made in a timely manner.
- To manage digital and GDS (Global Distribution System) advertising strategy, optimising current activity and trialling new activity.
- To conduct monthly digital reporting and insight analysis.
- To effectively build relationships and communicate with key stakeholders and senior leadership.
Entry Requirements
Successful candidates for our Digital Marketing Manager opportunity will:
- Experience of luxury B2C digital marketing is essential – experience within the hospitality industry is desirable.
- Experience implementing a successful and ROI-driven digital marketing strategy.
- Experience with a variety of digital acquisition channels and techniques.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience in optimising websites for search engines.
- Previous experience working with agency partners and website content management systems.
- Budget management and project management experience.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with sharp attention to detail. Solid knowledge of Google Analytics and Excel. Commercially astute and results driven.
- Team player with a proactive approach and the ability to use own initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and work in collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Strong passion for all things digital and latest marketing innovations and trends.
