A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Waiter/ess to join The Emory Bar & Bar 33 department team at The Emory.

This role will be part of the Bars Team of The Emory, which encompasses two unique bars. Bar 33 has an unparalleled 360-degree view of the capital, the hotel’s spectacular rooftop will be the jewel in its crown – an entirely private, sweeping space dedicated to hotel guests only designed by Remi Tessier. The Emory Bar, a welcoming contemporary space to enjoy cocktails, coffee and a selection of dishes from our restaurant, abc kitchens. Featuring mid-century inspired decor in a warm, inviting palette, the bar flows naturally into our Courtyard — where the tables are framed by a sprawling-stained glass piece by acclaimed artist, Brian Clarke.

The Maybourne is proud to introduce a new architectural landmark to London. The final project designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers, The Emory will be an exclusive, world-class hub of art and culture which marks the addition of a modern masterpiece to the group's global luxury estate. Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory will present 61 contemporary suites set over nine floors.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Waiter/ess, you will be providing an excellent level of customer service in a professional and efficient manner in line with the department standards.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Greet and make feel welcome all the guests walking in to the bar.
• Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional.
• Be fully conversant with all Bar menus and special offers, ensuring efficient communication is maintained at all times.
• Uphold and maintain standards at all times in line with the department standard of procedures.
• Ensuring that licensing laws, health and safety legislation is adhered to.
• Consistently deliver excellent LQA standard levels of service to ensure complete satisfaction of internal and external customers.
