We are looking for a talented and passionate Assistant head housekeeper to join the Housekeepingteam at the award-winning 5-Star Deluxe Connaught Hotel.

Main duties & responsibilities

As Assistant head housekeeper, you will assist the Head Housekeeper in directing and managing the Housekeeping Department including the planning, organisation and supervision of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the hotel. You will ensure that allocated tasks to colleagues are completed in an efficient and timely manner. You will also assist to cover all aspects of administration of the department, including Health & Safety, purchase order and report preparation as well as assist in checking rooms in all Housekeeping areas as and when required. 

Entry requirements

As Assistant head housekeeper you must have a strong administration and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently to co-ordinate numerous tasks at the same time. You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, engaging, customer focused and an excellent motivator to your team. It is also imperative that you have a strong communication and inter-personal skills. Housekeeping experience at a senior level within a similar hotel environment is essential for the position.
