We are looking for an engaging and inspiring Rooms Controller to join the award-winning 5-Star Connaught Hotel.

As Room Controller, you will ensure a smooth and efficient running of the shift adhering to the Connaught Standards and Procedures. You will work closely with the Supervisors and Duty Managers in ensuring all payments and invoices are processed efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible to ensure all Receptionists are conversant with the company’s credit policy and all accounting procedures. You are also expected to cover shifts as and when required and assist colleagues in the department. Your main objective will be to ensure our guests requirements and needs are continuously met. You will have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, with an excellent command of written and spoken English, as you will be responsible for operations of our online guest communication system.
You must be passionate, motivated, welcoming and highly organised to ensure that all requests and tasks are attended to without any delays. You will need to be well presented, have excellent communication skills and has a pleasant telephone manner. You need to work well under pressure with excellent ability to co-ordinate efficiently with other departments and bring good administration and organisational skills.
We anticipate applicants will have previous experience as Rooms Controller or Hotel Receptionist and will have worked in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment
