A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Human Resources Manager to join and lead the HR team at the award-winning 5-star Connaught Hotel.

Main duties & responsibilities

As Human Resources Manager you will join a high profile HR team responsible for the delivery and performance of the people and development agenda of this award winning luxury hotel.  You will have responsibility for the day to day running of the HR function, directly lead and manage the HR Coordinator and HR and Recruitment Officers, and will work closely with the Learning and Development Manager and Group Director of Human Resources in the creation and delivery of the people strategy for approximately 450 colleagues.

This is an exciting HR generalist role which combines responsibilities in recruitment and selection, employee engagement and communication, coaching and succession planning, as well as responsibility for employee relations handling and performance management. You will be passionate about people and a highly motivated self starter with the ability to build relationships and impact and influence across the business at all levels. 

Entry Requirements

An excellent and confident communicator, you will be an accomplished HR generalist with proven experience at management level within a fast paced or similar environment. You will ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards this qualification and have sound working knowledge of UK employment law and best practice. Experience within the luxury hospitality or hotel sector would be highly desirable for this role.
