We are seeking an exceptional Spa Manager to lead the team within our newly redesigned Claridge’s Spa.

Claridge’s Spa draws together ancient Japanese healing rituals, restorative bodywork and the latest bio-innovation to amplify emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing. With personalised treatments, designed around high performance lifestyles, the Spa offers a holistic approach aiming to restore our guests energy and harmony, leading to a sense of inner calm.

Main duties & responsibilities

As Spa Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operation and development of the Spa department in the hotel. You will be responsible for managing and motivating your team whilst demonstrating an exceptional level of professionalism. You will also be capable of working in a busy department and be adaptable and flexible in order to adjust to the day to day operational requirements whilst maximising the revenue of the department through treatments, retail sales, memberships and personal training. 

Entry Requirements

A strong working knowledge of holistic and complimentary therapies would be highly essential for this role.  You will be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to lead and develop others within your team.. You will be well presented with exceptional attention to detail. In addition to that you will also be flexible and well organised.

Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:

  • Experience in leading a team
  • Extensive knowledge in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage
  • Shiatsu, Thai Massage and Reflexology are of advantage
  • Strong customer care skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • Confident, professional and welcoming personality
  • Ability to deal with high profile clients in a professional manner
