We are seeking an experienced security officer to join the security team at Claridge's, responsible for the protection and safeguarding of our guests, employees and the company.

At the centre of London’s Mayfair, Claridge’s is a unique combination of splendour and charm, renowned for its impeccable, intuitive service. The hotel’s original art deco interiors have been interwoven with modern flourishes, such as contemporary suites and a Michelin-starred restaurant, Fera at Claridge’s. It also has a famous all-day dining restaurant, the Foyer & Reading Room, and two bars: Claridge’s Bar and the intimate Fumoir.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Maintain the company standards in relation to all matters involving security and crisis management
  • Efficiently deal with any matter relating to fire, bomb and health and safety
  • Maintain a vigilant presence within the hotel at all times and regularly patrol all floors
  • Investigate all incidents and assist management in the smooth running of the hotel 

Entry Requirements

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent hotel security knowledge, having ideally worked within a similar role in a 4 or 5 star environment
  • Knowledge of an Access Control System
  • A current SIA Licence is essential
  • Experience with writing incident reports
  • Immaculate personal presentation and ability to deal with high profile guests in a professional manner
