Main duties & responsibilities

As Training Manager you will be an exceptional team player and have a passion for working with people. You will be an excellent and confident communicator and have the ability to interact with our colleagues to help maintain a fantastic work environment at The Berkeley.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Be responsible for the delivery of the training and development strategy and manage the day to day operation of the training function.
  • Ensure highly effective training solutions are in place which supports high performance and retention across the hotel.
  • Create, deliver and evaluate engaging and innovative training, development and communications programmes.
  • Utilise a blended approach, and deliver creative solutions which supports a strong team culture and commitment to exceptional guest service delivery.
  • Reporting directly to the Group Learning and Development Manager, you will work closely with the HR team and the hotel operation on a daily basis.

Entry Requirements

Successful candidates for our Training Manager opportunity will demonstrate genuine dedication to The Berkeley and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service. 

With this in mind, you will be an experienced and accomplished training professional with experience at a similar level or ready to take on your next step within a high profile environment. Proven experience within a training role and of managing the training cycle is essential for this position and experience within the hospitality or service sectors would be highly desirable.
