A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our Pastry Kitchen at The Berkeley.

Main duties & responsibilities

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the production of food and service within the Pastry.
  • Be fully conversant with all Restaurants, Bar, Floor Service and Banqueting menus with regard to the particular items relating to the Pastry section.
  • Ensure that food preparation is of the highest standard at all times.
  • Encourage communication regarding food service, especially when highly individual and personalised service is demanded from our clients.
  • Assist Head Pastry Chef to carry out on the job training for staff within your section and completing the departments training records on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that food preparation is of the highest standard at all times.

Entry Requirements

As a Chef de Partie you will work closely with the Pastry Sous Chef and assist in the day to day operation of the pastry kitchen. You will be passionate about working with the finest and freshest ingredients; you will be responsible for the making of an indulgent range of delicate desserts, superb petit fours and other patisserie.
