A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Night Waiter/Waitress to join our Room Service team at The Berkeley.

Main duties & responsibilities

As a Room Service Night Waiter/Waitress you will work closely with our In-Room Dining Manager and Night Manager and assist in the day to day operation of our Room Service department. You will be passionate about all things Food & Beverage and excited to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Be fully conversant with all Room Service menus and special offers provided to our in-house guests.
  • Ensure mise-en-place is prepared for service according to hotel and departmental standards. 
  • Confidently take food and beverage orders as required and ensure that these are being processed correctly and in a timely manner. 
  • Provide courteous and efficient service to all in-house guests and ensure that their needs and expectations are fully met during their stay. 
  • Ensure that all Room Service areas are being kept tidy and clean and replenish stock as required. 
  • Liaise with the Night Manager on duty and communicate any special guest requests or issues in a timely manner.

Entry Requirements

Successful candidates for our Room Service Night Waiter/Waitress opportunity will demonstrate genuine dedication to The Berkeley and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service. Previous Room Service experience as a Night Waiter/Waitress is desirable.
