A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Night Luggage Porter to join our Concierge team at The Berkeley.

Its signature experiences include the famed Blue Bar, The Berkeley Bar & Terrace, Michelin-starred dining in ‘Marcus’ by Marcus Wareing and our Bamford Health Club & Spa.

Main duties & responsibilities

As a Night Luggage Porter you will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be passionate about providing exceptional service to our guests at The Berkeley. You must maintain high knowledge of Hotel information and special events in order to respond to guest enquiries.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Provide the most welcoming and accommodating service to all guests, in compliance with departmental SOP’s, Berkeley standards and LQA/Forbes standards.
  • Operate an effective luggage service to guest satisfaction and adhere to security standards while storing and handling guest luggage.
  • Assist the Concierges on duty and Front Office team to ensure a smooth running of the daily Front of House operations. 
  • Maintain a professional, helpful and friendly attitude towards guest and colleagues at all times.
  • Answer all guest queries and follow up on any guest requests to ensure they are fully satisfied with the service provided.
