A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an energetic Linen Assistant to join our Housekeeping team at The Berkeley.

Main duties & responsibilities

As a Linen Assistant you will be an exceptional team player and have a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will be an excellent and confident communicator and have the ability to interact with guests and clients to ensure a fantastic experience at The Berkeley.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Linen Room Manager in providing a prompt and efficient service to all departments by helping control the linen exchanges and deliveries.
  • Monitor the daily linen count and ensure that stock levels are controlled throughout the day. 
  • Sort, pack and unload linen containers and assist with the daily preparation of linen supply for the Housekeeping and F&B departments within the hotel. 
  • Communicate any shortages, delays, or special requests with the Linen Room team and keep the Linen Room Manager well informed at all times. 
  • Assist with the organisation and storage of linen, towels, sheets, etc. on a daily basis.
