A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a charismatic Junior Door Person to join our award-winning team at The Berkeley.

Main duties & responsibilities

As a Junior Door Person you will be an excellent and confident communicator, and will have the ability to interact with guests and make them feel welcome while visiting Cedric Grolet at The Berkeley and other F&B outlets. 

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Provide a pleasant warm welcome and assistance to all guests arriving to Cedric Grolet at The Berkeley and other F&B outlets. 
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of the local area so that directions can be given confidently. 
  • Have a thorough understanding of hotel operations, and be fully aware of hotel facilities and daily services offered. 
  • Offer assistance in arranging taxi services for our guests.
  • Work closely with the Concierge and Front Office team to ensure efficient communication is maintained at all times. 
  • At times you may be required to assist with general Front of House duties. 

Entry Requirements

Successful candidates for our Junior Door Person opportunity will need to be well presented and have excellent communication skills. We anticipate applicants will have previous experience as a Door Person within a retail or hotel environment.
