A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Restaurant Waiter/Waitress to join our Collins Room team at The Berkeley.

Main duties & responsibilities

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Provide a warm welcome and an excellent service experience to every guest in the Collins Room.
  • Ensure a full understanding of current and upcoming food & drinks menus and be able to make confident recommendations our guests.
  • Take drinks and food orders to the departmental standards.
  • Post orders in Micros and amend special requests appropriately.
  • Take ownership over VIP guests experience and ensure that team members are aware of the VIP guests both in the outlet and within the hotel.
  • Handle cash and credit cards after the guest has requested the bill, ensuring that all items are posted and the correct change/receipt will be handed out.

Entry Requirements

As a Collins Room Waiter/Waitress you will be an exceptional team player and have a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will be an excellent and confident communicator and have the ability to interact with guests and clients to ensure a fantastic experience at The Berkeley.
