Main duties & responsibilities

As Assistant Back of House Manager you will be an experienced leader and excited to share your knowledge and support with junior members of the team and coordinate daily operational tasks accordingly. 

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively support the Back of House Manager in managing and coordinating all daily activities of the Back of House department.
  • Assist with the coordination of all logistics taking place in and out of the building, store area control and stock management, supporting departments with procurement of stock and equipment, and maintaining a secure and safe environment in the back of house areas. 
  • Support the management of waste and recycling for the property to ensure costs are kept to a minimum and in line with business and council demands.
  • Conduct all staff training associated with departmental procedures as instructed by the Back of House Manager.
  • Manage all back of house administration, ensuring that the hotel is always up to date with supplier pricing, waste reports and goods movement within the hotel.

Entry Requirements

Successful candidates for our Assistant Back of House Manager opportunity will need to be well presented, have excellent communication skills and a natural ability to lead an experienced team. We anticipate applicants will have previous experience in a similar role.
