A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the Collins Room team at The Berkeley.

Main duties & responsibilities

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will coach and advise all employees on departmental standards and create a professional, proactive working environment which promotes good employee morale, inspires the team to a high level of commitment and gives the opportunity for personal development and progress within the department.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the daily operation, prioritise usual tasks and delegate them to the according team members.
  • Consistently deliver excellent LQA standard levels of service to ensure complete satisfaction of internal and external customers.
  • Maintain ,observe and evaluate existing standards on a regular basis and develop new standards to enhance the service experience.
  • Set personal goals and objectives that can be measured in self-progression and improvements in the level of business.
  • Encourage and train the team members to deliver the same exceptional service standards.
