Kitchen Coordinator
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Kitchen Coordinator to join the Main Kitchen team at The Berkeley.

As a Kitchen Coordinator you will support the Kitchen department in an administrative role. You will be coordinating the daily and weekly food orders and assisting with the daily function of the Kitchen department.
Main responsibilities of the Kitchen Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Receive from the Executive/Sous Chefs the necessary daily and weekly orders for placing with the appropriate suppliers and to assist in the compilation of the daily orders with the Executive/Sous Chefs On a daily basis.
- Place the order with the appropriate suppliers for each item required based on the input of the weekly market sheet.
- Co-ordinate, update Chefs diaries. Arrange interviews and take messages. Ensure regular meetings are booked in advance.
- Compile the minutes from any departmental meeting, taking and posting the minutes.
- Liaise with Human resources regarding staff vacancies and when there are skill tests booked.
- Contribute to maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a fast learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
