Occupying the entire rooftop of the hotel and accommodating up to eight guests, The Penthouse is an extraordinary four-bedroom residence where architecture, art and the life of the city converge. Designed by Rémi Tessier, it offers a world apart above Mayfair, with 360-degree views stretching across London’s landmarks, rooftops and ever-changing skyline.
Inside, Tessier’s exacting approach creates an atmosphere of remarkable calm. Two distinct wings meet around The Lake, a sculptural water installation by Andrew Ewing, while rare materials including ziricote, Lebanese cedar and green onyx bring depth and character to the interiors. More than 80 artworks were curated by Tessier in close consultation with Damien Hirst, forming one of the world’s largest private collections of the artist’s work and giving the residence the feeling of an exclusive private gallery.
Beyond interiors, the private rooftop terrace and landscaped rooftop open onto a nine-metre heated pool, private wellness spaces and a secluded piano pavilion. Here, days begin with breakfast as the city stirs, afternoons unfold on Mayfair’s Bond Street and evenings are made for intimate family dinners, milestone celebrations or gathering friends around the piano as London glitters on the horizon.
