England Autumn Internationals 2018
Thrilling tests at Twickenham
As the countdown to the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan begins, England set out to test their mettle in a series of four autumn internationals on home turf at Twickenham. Taking place on each Saturday throughout November, the much-anticipated fixtures promise a month of thrilling matches for rugby fans.
With the road to the World Cup in 2019 ahead, more than national pride is at stake.
The first clash, against South Africa, will see England keen to prove their worth after a patchy performance in the three-test series against the Springboks this summer. Next up is an equally tough challenge as England go head-to-head with New Zealand for the first time since 2014, when the All-Blacks took the victory 24-21 in a nail-biting finish.
17 November sees the second ever test match between England and Japan. Then, in the final test it will be England’s age-old adversaries Australia who will be looking to give the home side a run for their money on the pitch.
There has already been unprecedented demand for World Cup 2019 tickets and these exciting contests will give fans a great opportunity to measure up the sides’ chances ahead of the international tournament in September next year.
