We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to join the sales team based in Mayfair. A key position within our sales team, this individual will support the sales managers and ensure the effective running of the sales office.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Drive the creation and implementation of the pro-active sales plan, from targeted regions
  • Work closely with our team of sales managers and marketing teams, PR, and groups sales to identify existing and potential clients to drive revenue across the group
  • Review the Maybourne Hotel Group’s sales plan throughout the year, to ensure its continued appropriateness against current market conditions, market intelligence and benchmarking statistics
  • Develop strong relationships and networks with key clients and industry leaders in order to strengthen the image of the company and provide sales leads – be the ‘brand ambassador’
  • Develop a robust financial planning mechanism and ensure that Key performance indicators and economic drivers are carefully defined and monitored to ensure that forecasts are more reliable
  • Direct, coach and support members of the sales teams in all geographic areas to ensure a high level of competence, motivation and efficiency in order to be competitive and meet profit and growth objectives

Entry requirements

  • Experience within a similar role within the luxury 5* market would be preferential
  • Fluent spoken and written English with immaculate grammar
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high pressured environment
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills, adaptable with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
