We are seeking an exceptional director of sales. Responsible for total account management as well as leading and managing a large team.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Strategic sales across the Maybourne Hotel Group brand, you will drive the creation and implementation of the pro-active sales plan, from targeted regions
  • Work closely with US Sales and Marketing teams, PR Groups Sales to identify existing and potential clients to drive revenue across the group
  • Total account management of luxury leisure accounts
  • Contunually review the Maybourne Hotel Group’s sales plan throughout the year, to ensure its continued appropriateness against current market conditions, market intelligence and benchmarking statistics
  • Develop strong relationships and networks with key clients and industry leaders in order to strengthen the image of the company and provide sales leads – be the ‘brand ambassador’
  • Develop a robust financial planning mechanism and ensure that Key performance indicators and economic drivers are carefully defined and monitored to ensure that forecasts are more reliable
  • Direct, coach and support members of the sales teams in all geographic areas to ensure a high level of competence, motivation and efficiency in order to be competitive and meet profit and growth objectives

Entry requirements

  • Extensive experience as director of sales, ideally within the luxury hotel 5* market is essential
  • Experience within a Head Office environment, looking after multiple properties would be beneficial
  • A good communicator, with excellent attention to detail, numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience managing a large team, candidates must demonstrate ability to lead, develop and mentor
  • Experience with stake holder management would be beneficial
