We are seeking an exceptional Email Marketing Manager to join our Digital Marketing team at Maybourne Hotel Group.

The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for all things email – from working with key stakeholders, copywriters and designers to craft and send eshots, to safeguarding and optimising our deliverability. The role spans both creative and technical facets of the channel, so would ideally suit an email marketing all-rounder.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Working with the Head of Digital & CRM, own Maybourne Hotel Group’s email marketing strategy and output. To act as the main point of contact for email marketing across the business
  • To oversee all consumer and trade email marketing campaigns – gathering content, briefing agency partners, managing approvals, segmentation, personalisation and sends, reporting and optimisation
  • Generating positive uplift across all key performance metrics – opens, clicks, conversions, bounces etc. Driving revenue and customer lifetime value through the channel
  • To transition our email marketing from a ‘one size fits all’ approach to a lifecycle model
  • To safeguard and optimise Maybourne Hotel Group’s deliverability. To manage Return Path Certification, ensuring our IP addresses are white listed
  • To elevate our email marketing efforts across segmentation, personalisation and content
  • To report on email marketing performance and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders. To implement a rigorous new testing structure
  • To keep abreast of best practice and innovations within the space – ensuring that these are shared and acted upon, where relevant
  • To manage any additional CRM projects, as required by the department
  • To manage the annual CRM budget
  • To effectively build relationships and communicate with key stakeholders and senior leadership

Entry requirements

  • Experience of luxury B2C marketing is essential – experience within the hospitality industry a bonus. Familiarity with a range of email marketing platforms
  • An accomplished and creative copywriter with an eye for design
  • Robust understanding of activating and managing lifecycle marketing campaigns. Skilled in database management and segmentation
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Return Path and Litmus platforms (or equivalent)
  • Experience of managing third-party agencies and freelancers
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and strong analytical skills. Results driven
  • Budget management and project management experience
  • Experience of working with HTML/ CSS
