An exceptional opportunity exists at our newest venture, for a charming, welcoming and well connected Restaurant Manager to become part of the team for our new restaurant by internationally renowned Michelin-starred French Chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Jean-Georges at The Connaught is a meeting place for both our guests and our neighbourhood. It overlooks fashionable Mount Street, in the heart of Mayfair, and offers informal gourmet dining, all-hours, in a relaxed, contemporary setting.

Eclectic, imaginative menus are inspired both by Jean-Georges’ experiences of the Far East and his signature use of South-east Asian flavours, whilst also featuring his distinctive take on British and Connaught classics, influenced by his earlier working life and love of London. Sourcing the best of British ingredients, the menus also reflect the farm-to-table, fresh-from-the-market approach long pioneered by Jean-Georges.

Main duties & responsibilities

As a Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for developing and operating a cost effective operation which exceeds guest expectations through the service of high quality food and beverages in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. You will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the restaurant; in particular, related to sales, profit and the development of the restaurant staff.

Entry requirements

You must be motivated and highly organised and preferably have previous experience within a similar role. You should be a strong communicator, be able to work well within a large team and have a special passion for hospitality and luxury service. You should be able to demonstrate leadership skills and should be able to lead and manage a large team.
