Main duties & responsibilities

As Plant Services Manager you will assist in managing the performance of the technical services and engineering function in this award-winning hotel, manage daily operations, deliver planned and preventative maintenance strategies, and deliver and assist in leading hotel, building and CAPEX projects.

You will have responsibility for managing the property’s plant maintenance strategy and agenda and maintaining plant equipment, ensuring the integrity of the product. You will be responsible for maintaining all the Back of House equipment and general supervision of all plant operatives plus quality control of Contractors working in the building as well as stock management. On occasion you will be responsible for all departmental operations including front of house responsibilities.

Entry requirements

You will have proven experience of supervising and leading an engineering function and team within a similar environment. The ability to work with integrated building management systems, kitchen and plant equipment is a key aspect of this role, as is strong project management and exceptional team management skills. You will be an excellent and confident communicator with the ability to develop and lead a team, work across all levels of the organisation both at hotel and corporate level, and be a proactive and solutions focused manager.
