We are seeking an experienced in room dining manager to lead our in room dining team in providing exceptional dining experiences within the setting of our guest's bedroom.

At the centre of London’s Mayfair, Claridge’s is a unique combination of splendour and charm, renowned for its impeccable, intuitive service. The hotel’s original art deco interiors have been interwoven with modern flourishes, such as contemporary suites and a Michelin-starred restaurant, Fera at Claridge’s. It also has a famous all-day dining restaurant, the Foyer & Reading Room, and two bars: Claridge’s Bar and the intimate Fumoir.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Complete management of the in room dining operation, leading our team of approximately 27
  • Maintain and promote a quality product in terms of both food and drink and service
  • Maintain the highest possible standards within the in room dining team
  • Support the team during service to ensure a smooth operation
  • Ensure optimum profitability and maintain financial control
  • Keep abreast and ahead of the market place in terms of new trends and innovations

Entry requirements

  • Experience as a manager within a Food & Beverage setting preferably within in room dining
  • Previous 5-star experience is essential for this role
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent food & beverage knowledge and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken English is essential, with clear telephone manner
  • Ability to work in a high pressured environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with high profile clients in a profession manner
