We are seeking an experienced spa receptionist to join the Health Club and Spa on a fixed term basis for six months.

At the centre of London’s Mayfair, Claridge’s is a unique combination of splendour and charm, renowned for its impeccable, intuitive service. The hotel’s original art deco interiors have been interwoven with modern flourishes, such as contemporary suites and a Michelin-starred restaurant, Fera at Claridge’s. It also has a famous all-day dining restaurant, the Foyer & Reading Room, and two bars: Claridge’s Bar and the intimate Fumoir.

Our health club and spa is hidden away in the heights of Claridge’s is a space dedicated to health, wellbeing and beauty.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Support the team by taking bookings, and keeping the guest record cards up to date
  • Ensure the smooth running of the health club and spa, responsible for opening and closing duties
  • Provide a warm welcome of our guests, processing payments, controlling any reception based administration/filing, processing vouchers and membership and mail order product sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the health club and restocking fruits, water, juices and towel supplies are also part of your responsibilities
  • Support the reception team by taking bookings, and keeping the client record cards up to date

Entry requirements

  • Luxury experience within a similar role would be preferential, however experience within a hotel is not necessary
  • Knowledge of treatments and techniques would be preferential
  • Passion for highly personalised service
  • Be a team player with good communication skills and
  • Excellent attention to detail with excellent organisation skills
