A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Events & Groups Coordinator to join our Events & Groups team at The Berkeley.

Main duties & responsibilities

As Events & Groups Coordinator you will have a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience and enjoy all aspects of planning and executing luxury events. You will be an excellent and confident communicator and have the ability to interact with guests and clients to ensure a fantastic experience at The Berkeley.


Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Head of Events & Groups, Events & Groups Manager and Events & Groups Executives, with special responsibility for administration. 
  • Answer incoming calls to the Events & Groups department dealing with general inquiries.
  • Liaise with all appropriate departments concerning group bookings taking place in food and beverage areas and ensure the smooth and efficient co-ordination of all bookings.
  • Be responsible for all food and beverage guest correspondence, especially confirming banqueting bookings; sending out inquiry literature, confirming price quotes etc.
  • Ensure any equipment needed for Banqueting is ordered in advance and to clients’ specification. 

Entry Requirements

Successful candidates for our Events & Groups Coordinator opportunity will need to be well presented, have excellent communication and administration skills.
