Natural History Museum to launch Butterfly Explorers
Date: 08 Apr - 26 Sep 10
Event: Butterfly Explorers
Location: Natural History Museum
London's Natural History Museum will offer a brand new attraction for families this year when it launches Butterfly Explorers.
From 8th April to 26th September, visitors will be invited onto the museum's west lawn to explore its butterfly house, which will be filled with hundreds of live butterflies. Guests staying at the five star Connaught hotel can follow their trip to the museum with a drink at the Coburg Bar or a bite to eat at Espelette.
Four different habitat zones will be represented in the Butterfly Explorers display: South America, North America, Asia and Africa. Visitors will also be able to peer through hatchery windows to see pupae and emerging butterflies.
Younger visitors will be kept entertained in a play area, tree house, maze and other outdoor facilities. There will also be interactive activities on offer throughout the exhibit.
Check in at the Connaught hotel in Mayfair and head to the Natural History Museum to learn more about the world of butterflies.
