In accordance with the Health Act 2006, it is now illegal to smoke in all enclosed public places. The law prohibits smoking any substance including tobacco such as:
Guests and visitors wishing to smoke are not permitted to do so on our premises in any public area whatsoever. Resident guests and their visitors are only permitted to smoke in designated smoking bedrooms.
Failure to comply with the law is a criminal offence.
In accordance with the Health Act 2006, individuals smoking in a smoke free place may receive a fixed penalty notice of £50 or a court fine of up to £200 by order of
Her Majesty’s Government.
